As you can see, I now have a treehouse to play in at work. Everything is miniature in size (we have one special needs child that is a dwarf and she is 4 years old but only 29 inches tall - I haven't met her yet, but I look forward to it). Even though everything is way too short for me, it still seems like a pretty cool place to play (I mean work).
There are dress-up hats and blocks and games - sounds like the perfect job for me right?
We also have lots of books and puzzles. Who says school is hard?
I helped get some posters and signs ready for class tomorrow. I work from 7:50 am until 3pm. I think I get off early on Friday, but I'm not sure yet. We have a morning class on MW, a morning class on TT, and an afternoon class on MTT. On Wednesdays I get to help with recess duty. Then on Fridays, all the special needs children come for an extra class. There is another paraprofessional (Renee Benson) and then the preschool teacher (JoAnn Clark) that I work with. There are also lots of other people in the school that I know and it is fun to work with everyone here at the school. It's a great place to work.
That looks like a great place to play (work) Becky. You should have a lot of fun with the kids and I'm sure they will enjoy you.
ReplyDeleteI don't think the preschoolers and fellow co-workers know what they are in for. Not only do they get to spend every week day with the coolest person in the world, they get to play with you!!! To quote Napolean Dynamite, "JEALOUS!"
