Monday Dad & I took the backdrops back to uncle Lynn's house.
When we got back home we put away everything from the open house.
Then Tuesday Mom & Dad took Shanell her birthday gifts and
took some things down to Idaho Falls.
Mom & Dad & I also cleaned out the raspberries and we
turned on the sprinkling system. There was one broken
sprinkler that we had to replace. Dad & I also put a
new belt on the lawn mower.
Wednesday we did more yard work.
I am excited for the lilacs to blooms soon!
I put up the swing in the back of the house, also.
During our free time, Mom & I have been doing indexing on the
1940 US Census. We have been doing a lot of the Idaho ones
in hopes that we will find somebody we know. So far we haven't
found anyone that we know, but we are still hopeful.
They are going alphabetically by county and they are currently on Franklin County.
I can't wait until we get to Madison and Teton Counties!
Thursday we had a tiger bunny come visit our class.
This morning I got some pictures of the beautiful flowers on the
Rexburg Temple grounds.
It has been a long and busy week.
So much for Spring "BREAK" ! ! !
Hmmm .... sounds like Mom and Dad still have not figured out that a break can involve an actual break. I'm sorry. You deserve some sanity and a chance to recuperate every now and then from WORK! Yeah, yeah, we were all raised to know how the work -- for which I am very grateful, but there's part of the family proclamation that states that there is more to family life than just work, and that part of that is wholesome recreational activities. Maybe I will do our FHE for the Bates family in June on the Family Proc instead .... what do you think? I think you are great to do all that you do Becky. I'm praying you get an actual break soon though. You definitely deserve it.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry you didn't get much of a break Becky. Thanks for all of your help around here.
