After Hours and Hours of Indexing . . .

. . . my hard work pays off!

Can you see the entry for
Thomas G Bates, Louisa Bates, and Annie M Bates?

They are my great grandfather, great grandmother, and my great aunt.

I got some batches from Fremont county last night (St. Anthony) and when I was indexing them this morning, I was very grateful to find these relatives.  I didn't know them here on earth, but I'm sure I knew them up in heaven.  I feel like this was an answer to my prayers - I have been wanting to find a relative or someone I know while I have been indexing the 1940 census records and here they are.  I might find more - if I do, I'll let you know.

It would be awesome to get Mom's family too!

  1. That is awesome! Hearts of the fathers to the children and vice vera, right? I think you are just amazing, Becky. Thanks for your example and all the diligence. Mom too. You two are doing a wonderful work! It was even part of the focus of the R.S. lesson yesterday.

  2. I was so excited when Becky was able to index her ancesters names. She has also got names for us to do work on. Yesterday we went up to the Rexburg Temple and saw Mariah and Tyler baptised for 2 of our Ancesters each. Thanks to you both and for your Mom bringing you.
