Ode to the Black Swimmers

As promised, here are the pictures of the Black family from 12/31/10.  I think I got a little carried away, however, so I will make a special page tomorrow for Koria.  What can I say - she seemed to be everywhere.  I will have a post tomorrow for her because I didn't have room for them all today.

This was Koria's first time "walking the plank" as she called it.
She was a little timid at first - when you see tomorrow's post, however, you will see that it didn't last long.

Kimball was a little shy jumping off but he made it.
I  don't know if I have ever been brave enough to do it yet . . .
Way to go Kimball!

I think Jared served as the diving coach and lifeguard for all the grandkids.
Thanks Jared for all your help - the kids had fun!

Jared inspired us all with his diving abilities.  I see where Koria gets it from now.

Kimball challenged Derek and Tyler to a game of 2-on-1.
 (I bet Kimball won)
Way to play Kimball!

Layne had a really important job today - she was in charge of entertaining
Becky, Wendy, and Grandpa.
She really had her hands full.
Good job Layne!

Kendra and Luke can float with the best of them - as long as they have a float tube that is.

I wanted to get a picture of Jared throwing Koria up in the air
but I underestimated his throwing abilities.
Jared had to throw her up in the air again so I could get a better shot.
I think I can still hear the words AGAIN!  AGAIN! coming from Koria.

And my very last shot of the day . . . my buddy LUKE!

  1. They sure had a lot of fun swimming. I'm glad you had a camera as I don't think anyone else did. I wish I was as brave as those grandkids. Way to go kids.
