Ode to the Bates Swimmers

As promised, here are the favorite swimming pictures of Lance and his family from 12/31/10.

This was my best shot of Lance and Katrina with Ashlyn and Dorrin.

Dorrin is still getting used to it but I think Ashlyn is a little fish - she loved it!

This was my 2nd favorite shot of Kaitlyn jumping off the diving board

can we just say "belly flop"?

This was my favorite shot of Kaitlyn jumping off - what a crazy girl.

I am not much of a diver myself, but I will call it the leap frog dive.



 This was my favorite shot of Nicole - let's do the twist!

I'm thinking she will make a great competitive high jump diver someday.

She even remembered to smile for the camera when she was getting out of the water.

I really liked this picture of Nicole and Kaitlyn.

Good thing sisters can have fun together.

Dorrin is just floating around like he doesn't have a care in the world.

I think they were watching Tyler and Jared do their synchronized swimming routine.

Koria watches Nicole fly into the sky when Jared launches her.

I think the Bates kids had as much fun as anyone that day.
