As you can see, we went to visit Shanell and we took them dinner. They were decorating their tree tonight and the kids were VERY excited. Shanell is taking it easy and we were glad of that. She is doing well and got some good sleep last night so that was great. Jesus Christ really has been "Risen with healing in his wings." Whether Shanell likes it or not, someday she will get her appendix back. We will all be freed from our pain and sorrows because of what Christ has done for us. I hope we can all think on what Christ has done for each of us personally during the next 20 days. I chose this song because it was the first song of the 1st presidency Christmas devotional. I hope you were all able to watch it.
It was good to see Shanell tonight and she is doing as well as could be expected. Rod was decorating the tree with lights and Landon was helping him. It was Landons turn to put the star on the top and he was holding the lights as his Dad was putting them on the tree.
