We have lots of snow at the cabin.
Derek even struggled walking through it.
We went up Henderson to find the trees. We walked around looking for trees for a long time.
We had to shake the snow off the trees and then decide if we liked them or not - we must have shaken snow off about 100 trees Derek thinks. Then we tied a rope to the ends of the trees and Derek and I each drug 2 trees back to his pickup. It took about 1 1/2 hours to pick them out and another 1/2 hour to drag them out. I was really glad to get back to Derek's pickup and head home. Dad didn't even have to come and pull us out of a snowbank. Derek delivered a tree to Lance and Wendy and just got home at 5pm.
Thanks Derek for getting our trees - you are AWESOME!
Here I am trying to haul the trees like a pack horse.
I didn't go as fast as Derek, but I made it!
You did great Becky and Derek. I'm sorry it took such an effort to get them this year. I know Dad and I really appreciate the one you got for us. Look at my blog.
ReplyDeleteI love the pictures of you and Derek in the snow. I can't believe that the snow is that deep. We had semi-greenish grass outside. That's all.
ReplyDeleteActually . . . Derek is kneeling down in front of the wall at the cabin . . . we did that for affect.
