It was my pleasure to spend the day with four of my favorite people - Grandma & Grandpa Bates and Tyler and Micah Welch. I took Tyler & micah on a 4-wheeler ride down the next road from the cabin. We found Haydukes Way which leads to the top of the mountain across from the cabin from the north side. We went down the trail a ways to get some pictures and we called Mom at the cabin. she and Dad came out on the porch and we yelled back and forth a little and got some great pictures. It was a fun day and I am so grateful it wasn't windy like yesterday. Micah and I saw a hawk, squirrels, chipmunks, a wild chicken, and finally a deer. We scared the deer from Bear Wallow as it was getting a drink. It was about 2pm today that we saw it. I wish I had my camera out faster and I would have posted that today. It has been a great day!

I know the kind of HOT that Micah was talking about. Thanks Becky for finding the road up to see the cabin from the mountain across from the cabin. Dad took us all up in the pickup later and it was great. It was so nice at the cabin. The mountains are beautiful right now. Thanks Becky for all of your help. I love you so much. Mom
