I read the conference talk that Elder Bednar gave this past October and
decided it was time to try Family Search for myself. I downloaded
the program to start indexing from home and I have already done
473 records. I have mainly been indexing voting registrations
from California from 1894-1896. It is interesting to see where all
these people came from and what their occupations were.
The most notable thing has been the height of the men, though - there
have only been 2 men that were 6 feet tall and that was the tallest.
most of the men were 5'4" to 5'8".
I guess our family would have been giants back then.
I am really enjoying the indexing and it is very easy.

There is a lot of work to do before the millenium!
