There were lots of apples to pick today.
When I went in Derek's room, I noticed that the crib was broken.
It looks like one of the grandkids jumped in and broke it on Sunday.
I wonder who was supervising them while I wasn't there . . .
Anyway, Dad was able to patch it up.
I hope it survives Layne when she comes this weekend.
She loves to bounce around and jump in her crib.
I guess we will see what is tougher - Layne or the crib.
Mom cut up a bunch of apples for pie filling.
I helped her - we froze them in bags with flour and sugar.
We will see if it makes good pies or not.
It was a very busy day. I do like to peel apples though.
