Derek got up on the ladder and secured the good pole to the playhouse.
Then he used the chainsaw to cut off the rotten pole part way up.
Then we had to try to jack up the rotten pole out of the ground.
It was stuck in there pretty good and they were talking about getting a backhoe in to pull it out but luckily they waited until Lance came - we were all hoping that he would just come and lift it out but it wasn't that easy.
In one of our ideas, Derek got a little muddy.
He managed to get some on me too, but he got mot of it.
Bro. Gage and Dad were really good at telling Derek what to do.
They would make great supervisors over any construction project.
Lance came and even Mom's cousin's son from Canada tried to help.
They had to use handyman jacks and a lot of brute force but they got it out.
I think putting the new pole in was much easier.
It is much sturdier now and it will be great for many grandkids to swing on now.
THANK YOU TO:
Dad, Brother Gage, Derek, and Lance!
You all did a great job and we appreciate you efforts!
It was a great team effort. Becky helped also.
