Did we drive in or not?

We got this far and then had to walk.

There were 2 trees over the road and about 18" of snow in some places.

Dad cut the 2 trees out of the road and he was tempted to try it but we didn't want to get stuck.

He said he could have made it if he had the pick-up but I doubt it.

The rest of the road up to the cabin was clear so it wasn't too hard to walk in.

We still have a huge pile of snow in front of the cabin of course . . .

and there would have been nowhere to park because of all the snow here . . .

Lots of snow in back of the cabin also.

This is walking back to the car.  There is just the one bad spot, but I am glad we postponed the reunion until a later date.  It would have been a pain hauling everything in and it's supposed to snow more the next couple of days so it wouldn't have been too fun up there.  Dad & I got the hot water heater fixed so that was good.

It shouldn't be too lang before we can drive in, but we didn't quite make it today.
