Grandma Bates is giving these to Layne - Don't tell her, though!
It's a surprise!
We couldn't find a Layne-safe necklace that didn't cost a fortune so we decided to make one.
I found what I thought were wood beads - wrong - I had to drill the holes through because they didn't go all the way through the beads. Then I strung the newly-made beads to make a necklace for Layne.
I know it's not perfect, but I hope Layne will like them!
