Back Storeroom Organized

Just so you know, I did this on Friday, but Mom wants me to add the picture of the work I did and here is what the storeroom looks like now:

I rearranged everything so all the cans of the same item were together and it is all organized by expiration date.  The newest food is on the left so when you need to eat some of the food storage, take the cans from the farthest right row.  I also had to clean up some exploded pears - boy was that fun.  I threw away some bulging cans (much to Dad's dismay).  He can't undesrtand why we let some of the food go bad - he said there was no reason this should happen.  Hopefully he will let me put the food away and not just stuff the new food on the shelf wherever there is an empty spot.  There were mandarin oranges in 4 different locations and all the dates were mixed up (the cans weren't even faced).  Now, we should be eating the oldest food first (some expired in 2003).  I had to fight off 2 hobo spiders also - they weren't too happy when I disturbed their home.  I am just glad I was able to get it done in one day.  There is still more work to be done, but this will have to do for now.
