More of the Cabin

This is what the balcony looked like when we arrived - there was about 4-5 feet of snow on the roof.

Between Derek shoveling off the snow and Lance pulling it off, they got most of the snow off the balcony roof.

after lunch they started on the front porch . . .

there were some very big chunks that we got off the roof - we used ropes for some of it too . . .

When we left, Derek & Lance had cleared tons of snow of and we had a well-groomed pathway made.
I hope it gets really warm and melts a bunch more before we have to go back up.

  1. It was a hard workout for the boys especially. I'm sure Dad and Becky did their share also. Thank you for all your hard work. it is warmer today so I hope it will melt a little. The ladder got beat up when a large chunk hit it. Just goes to show how dangerous it could be.

  2. That snow level is insane! Thanks for the pictures. I think that they are great and I just can't imagine that much snow on top of the cabin since we almost have none at all!

  3. There is a lot - I am hoping the warm weather melted some of it but I don't think it melted enough . . .
