I was reflecting back on our trip to Alaska
and wanted to use this picture as my 200th post.
I really had a good time on the trip and it was
definitely the highlight of 2010 for me.
So much has happened since this day in Skagway . . .
I hope I have learned the things I needed to.
I want to look back on my life and have a lot of good memories.
Hopefully I can make each day better by striving to be happy!
We get to decide how we will react to the events in our lives . . .
will we dwell on what could have been . . .
or
ENJOY WHAT IS . . .
Guess I need to enjoy more what I have instead of the other.
ReplyDeleteEasier said than done, but I agree fully. I like the picture, by the way. That was the highlight of the trip for me. The hike was the most unique part of the journey.
ReplyDeleteThe hike was the best part . . . I guess we need to go for more hikes around here this summer and enjoy what we have in our own backyard.
