Before the sun came up, I took a ride up to the top of the hill overlooking the cabin. This is taken on the highway before turning off to go up the hill. The sky was beautiful in the cool morning air.
I sat down and waited while the sun woke up.
Then I rode over to Henderson canyon and rode over the mountain to Patterson Canyon.
This is where Derek & I tipped over about 18 years ago. I decided to try going up the trail again and this time I won - there were only a couple of really steep places and the ground was not muddy so I had no problems this time.

It allready seems a long time ago since you took those pictures and it was only this morning. It was fun. I called Mariah from the top of the mountain and wished her a happy birthday. Now she is as old as I am.
