Song Stuck in my Head . . .

Each of us is a FLOWER . . . Growing in Life's Garden . . . REPEAT . . .

We need the sun and rain . . .

We are learning this song in preschool.  I find myself singing it over and over and over again in my head.  I guess that is normal when we sing it at the beginning of each class for preschool.

I found some ORANGE flowers out to the South of the house.  I thought some of my nephews might really like them, so I took a picture for you guys.

Here is the whole song if you care:

Each of us is a flower

Growing in life’s garden

Each of us is a flower

We need the sun and rain.

Each of us is a flower

Growing in life’s garden

Each of us is a flower

We need the sun and rain.

Verse:

Sun, shine your warmth on me

Moon, cool me with your night

Wind, bring the gentle rain

Earth, take my roots down deep.

Chorus

I can show you the actions too if you want!  Anyway, I hope you all have a great day today!

  2. Just another interesting sideline about that beautiful flower. My Mom had bad arthritis and it was better in warm weather. Dad and Mom had some good friends who lived in California and in the winter Dad took her there to releive some of the pain. She came back from one of those trips with some seeds. She planted them the next spring and we had a bunch of california poppy seeds. They are so bright and cheerful. We need to save some of the seeds which are collected in tiny long pods like pea pods and give some to Kimball and to Cade. Help me remember to save some Becky.
