This is one of Mom's big pansies that gets special treatment everyday. It is out in a big pot in front of the house and everyone that walks by gets to notice it and say how beautiful it is. It gets watered about every day and I would say Mom gives it a lot of attention.
Then, there is this beautiful little pansy in the back corner of the garden hiding against the fence. It gets watered when the sprinklers come on and it gets plenty of sunlight, but it doesn't get all the attention that the other bigger pansy does. It just hides out in its own little corner of the world and continues to grow. The other pansies around it look kind of like weeds, but they are still beautiful when you look at them up close. They are content to just be the little pansies in the corner of the garden.
So . . . what kind of pansy are you?
Just a little one hanging out in the back of the garden. I love these violas as much as the big pansy. I always thought my Mom was named after the violas. "Viona" but everyone called her "Vie" and spelled it that way. We gave Kendra her name but I just wanted to spell it "Vi". I like simple things, thus your middle name Becky as "Jo". So I love the simple viola.
ReplyDeleteI like them both in their own rite. I think that I'm probably a bit of both, depending on the circumstance and situation. I just don't like to be predictable, so I'll go with neither -- I'm my own brand of flower.
ReplyDeleteAs long as you keep a happy smile on your face, I guess it doesn't matter what kind of flower you are.
