Happy Birthday Luke & Layne!
We finally got to open their presents today. Luke was more excited about the big shiny box and the bows than he was about the actual gifts. He really had fun playing with everything!
Luke was all over the place. He wanted to play with all the toys. Kimball & Koria also liked the toys and they seemed to get upset with Luke when he tried to play with his own gifts. It was a fun birthday celebration. The best part was having everyone there to share it with. We were so glad Layne & Kendra were home from the hospital.
This is Layne hanging out with her Mom at the birthday party. She was just glad to be home too!
That's probably the shortest birthday party for a one-year-old in modern history. The best part was definately that fact that Layne and I were both home. It was great to actually get to see you for a day of your visit down to stay at our house!

ReplyDeleteThey won't remember this birthday but you certainly will Kendra. We pray for your little girl and for you. I'm glad we could get your names in the Temple again when we went on Wednesday.
