Happy Birthday Dad!

We had a family get-together for Dad's birthday today.  Katrina made a special birthday cake and Grandma put on 7 candles - 1 for each decade Dad has been alive.  I'm sure glad we didn't have to light 70 candles - we would have had a fire hazard.  It was great to have everyone come that could make it.  Kendra and her family also called and sang happy birthday to Dad.  They did a much better job of it than we did earlier.  We were glad they could be a part of the celebration also.  I know Dad has already used the gift we got him and I think he likes it.  Thanks to everyone for going in on the garage door opener.  It was a hit!  Thanks also to Dad for being such a great father.  I really appreciate everything you and Mom do for me.  I am grateful for your example of hard work and dependability.  I love you very much and am so glad we made it through the past year as well as we did.  Thanks Dad for everything!
