Fruit or Veggie?

We got our first ripe tomato today.  It is pretty small, but it sure tasted good on our salad along with our fresh peas.  Botanically speaking, tomatoes are fruits, but the the U.S. Supreme Court declared on May 10, 1893 that the tomato is a vegetable, based on the popular definition that classifies vegetables by use, that they are generally served with dinner and not dessert.  There are even different ways of pronouncing the word tomato.  I know a lot of people are very confused about the tomato, but not me.  I love to eat fresh, ripe, hand-picked tomatoes.  They are delicious!
